Eight Ball Zucchini is a hybrid variety of zucchini squash. It has become much more
popular over the last several years. The round softball size member of the squash family can be substituted for regular zucchini in many recipes. The size and shape make it ideal for stuffing. While some recipes specify cutting the zucchini in half from stem to bottom, the most common method is to slice off the top stem end and scoop out some of the interior.
