Field Grown Jersey Tomatoes are ready!!!! Heirloom, traditional, grape and cherry tomatoes available. Green and Yellow Zucchini, Kale, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Hungarian Sweet Peppers, beautiful hand picked Green Beans, Fresh White Onions, Green Tomatoes for frying, Basil and Zinnias are ready!! Catalpa Farm continues to actively support the Franklin Food Bank. Fresh and varied vegetables are given to the Food Bank for disbursement during the growing season. Volunteer opportunities to assist with the Food Bank are available throughout the year. Please visit the Food Bank website for more info.
Our roadside market is located on the corner of South Middlebush and Old Vliet Roads in Franklin Township. The market IS NOW OPEN with limited hours. Many types of Peppers, Tomatoes, Squash, Eggplant, and Herbs. Fresh cut flowers are available as picked. Heirloom Tomato varieties include Cherokee Green, Pink Brandywine, and Great Whites; Pink Girl tomatoes are delicious as well! Snacking tomatoes include Juliet Grape Tomatoes, Artisan Mixed and Yellow Sun Sugars. Kale, our favorite alternative to lettuce and spinach, will be there also. Honey is often available. The selection of available vegetables changes daily. As always, remember - produce is weather dependent!
